One of the areas I focused on preparing in advance was public speaking. In my young 20s I new I wasn’t very good so I joined a Toastmasters group to start getting better even though I didn’t have any speaking responsibilities at that point in time. What a relief when my work demanded I speak and train!
Personal growth is something that anyone can do which produces high return. My growth and development has and counties to take me toward my dreams! Great question!
I don’t think anyone could say you don’t care about personal growth, Dan! Is there a certain dream the growth and development especially helped prepare you for?
Different leadership roles at work and as a church volunteer. It’s also preparing me to write, coach, and speak full time (in the future).
